Meditation

Post by Marcaeus »

Is meditation skill gain effected by drop of current int? Will 0 mana to 100 int gain faster than if I'm going from 0 mana to 25 int, or does it run on percent drop of current int? I noticed faster gains while medding up to 100 vs. lower int? Will I not be able to max meditation with lower int? Please elaborate.

It's like the stock market...

When low, med high, when high med low.

I posted this in another thread involving meditation. If you apply this formula below this will be the best possible gain rate for your meditation skill.
(( 100 - Meditation Skill Value ) / 100 ) * Int = How much mana you should be around when using the skill for a possible gain in the skill.

So, as long as you're empty on mana you'll gain no matter what your int is, correct?

100 skill divided by 100 = 1

Multiply 1 by your intelligence, and that's what you should be trying to med at...

So if you already have 100/100/25, med as close to 100 mana as possible (IE use a wizards hat).

No, unless you're high in meditation. It determines on your meditation skill depending on how much mana you have to gain at that skill. If you do the math with the formula that I presented you'll see how much mana to obtain the best possible gain for your skill range.

How close should you be to it range wise?

I set my med at what your formula says I should be medding at, and haven't gained once yet. You sure there is no cap on mana/int drop? Example if I have 60 int/mana, and to get above 80+ med skill I need to drop 60+ mana, and med?

How much meditation skill do you have and what is your int currently setting at?

I'll try heavier armor to slow med gain rate for a while, and see if I get some skill gains.

I guess you need a certain amount of int/mana to be dropped, and then meditated to surpass a certain amount of skill like I figured.
