Though to be fair, I think it was Derrick who mentioned the idea behind events is that automated events 'mimic' a seer staff. To have a real seer staff requires not only people, but trusted people. And it paves the wave for abuse.

Automated Events never existed on OSI in any way shape or form. It is not era accurate to have automated events on Secondage.

1. Stop giving away silver and/or make people pay to enter.

Era Accurate events with reasonable era accurate rewards would be a replacement to the silver system. Nothing like silver ever existed on OSI.

2. Revamp the events to get people in the world, not in trammy instances.

This would be what OSI had in the T2A era. Unique Events existing in Sosaria.


OSI had alot better events with alot better rewards.

If we need something era inaccurate to keep people playing(events) then why not create something like in-game quests where people can complete them to get cosmetic items? Like already era accurate stuff.

THings to do, add more rares. This will cause people to log on. JUst add more content.

Surely inaccurate content(that would have been aded to UO by OSI anyway) would be better than TRAMMEL INSTANCES.
