To the ghost named "ScamVendor" outside my vendor house...

Post by Corbin »

You're a coward hiding behind a worthless character. Come out and say who you are. :)

I tried to talk to Mr. Ghosty last night about why he was standing there when he returned thinking there might be an actual problem like maybe I had missed a piece in a Dex Suit that wasn't GM, or maybe he was one of the many people who seem to enjoy buying my display recall scroll even though it's priced at 999 so people will stop buying it (RAGE!).

Nope, instead of a real reason, he came up with many false reasons (i.e. my equipment is used, well I was scammed here) then tried to extort me for a house deed or he would continue to stand there.

So who are you? Quit hiding behind your stupid ghost. lol

Oh, and by the way, your ploy is obviously not working. I sold quite a bit last night. Hope you're enjoying idling.

I stopped by earlier to pick up some house addons and a passerby yelled to 'be careful'. I'd guess it's safe to say this guy's plan is working.

Most people know the house by reputation. Plus... it's a little hard to scam the items I sell since they are quite obviously marked what they are. The only thing I'd really be able to scam would be the spellbooks, which are also clearly marked to ID them before buying to prevent scams and inform people that they can be ID'd. ;)

LOL, looks like someone is reading this thread because there are now two more ghosts there.
The funniest thing is that no one is taking responsibility for it and hiding who they are for whatever reason.

Oh, and they bombed the house... yay, clean up time.

And to make it even sweeter, they bombed my house with bags which I'll use to sell items, undecoded t-maps which I'll sell, and a necro reg. LOL

Good job, guy. :)

I'm pretty sure there's a way to make things un-buyable from your vendor, so you can just do that instead of marking your display items 999.

I know little of vendors but I thought only certain items could be made unbuyable.

Like, I think yo ucan make a book unbuyable but a scroll priced at 999 is a much better identifier.

Ronk is correct. Only certain items can be unbuyable such as books, which I use on some of the vendors.
