All Stables full - at all times!
Re: All Stables full - at all times!
Why would a new player be stabling their first horse? Would they not be riding it? Also, new players do not need stable spots as they are not typically out taming dragons and WWs. This hurts people who want to hop on with their dragon horde and go easily hunt and/or dragon turret. Good ridance, I say.tekai wrote:Came back to play for an evening.
Even I must admit this is pretty silly. I can never remember a time during T2A where i could not find a stable slot.
Stableing birds and crap is abuse plain and simple.
This can only be hurting new players.
Imagine you make your first charecter, spend an hour farming for your first horse, then before you go adventure some more you try to stable it and cannot. Pretty big turn off imo.
Re: All Stables full - at all times!
Did you seriously just ask me why a new player would want to use the stables?
tool.
tool.

They did it 1st. I commented on it and they made fun of me so I said f*ck it. At least I sell mine. They hoard em and don't sell nor give. They r the greedy ones.tekai wrote:Whatever man you're hurting the shard.

Tek, why would a new player want a stable? Stables cost money. You have 15 character slots to hold pets.
Its pretty safe to say the only people hurt by this are farming tamers.

i think it's helping the shard,
you're bound to see more people actually running and traversing the lands.
instead of just racing by you on some smelly beast.
foot traffic > mounts
ANY DAY

Re: All Stables full - at all times!
I just finished my tamer the other day, tamed 1 WW and was able to stable it without a problem..
When I was training taming (I took my time, it took me about a month) I noticed about 10-15 characters training at the same time. It could just be having the issue of how easy it is to have a tamer, although UOSA only says there are 158 characters with GM taming.. I bet majority of tamers are within the 97 to 99.9 taming range.
With the new patch on blocking monsters/animals, its hard to maintain an army of 50+ dragons/wws, so I think the amount of pets that people have will decrease anyway.
I say let the issue work itself out.
Look at housing, all the prime spots are taken which requires you to put a value to the spot when thinking about purchasing/selling it. This is the same thing with taming, if you hunt in t2a you might want to keep your pets there and willing to buy a spot as GK was saying he did when he first returned, instead of worrying about teleporting them across facets.
stop crying, if you cant find a spot.. hide and wait for some guy to take out his army of whatever animal/monster and hope you get off a "stable" before he's able to put a filler in.

tamed animals don't break things in their path ;/ don't know if this is a feature or an oversight.Pacifico wrote:With the new patch on blocking monsters/animals, its hard to maintain an army of 50+ dragons/wws, so I think the amount of pets that people have will decrease anyway.

This seriously needs some sort of a fix. Beast and other retards are still recalling around the stables every day trying to fill any available slots that show up with crap.
Why allow pure grief play like this?

It isn't era accuracy for there to be no stable slots.
I'm 100% sure that if anyone tried to pull this on live, they would have done something about it.
I'm not going to argue with you felix, you are one of my best friends on the server. but you know that I always help the noobs out. I spent countless hours in IRC like you do answering questions and helping if I was needed. Its what i did.
I have the right to say that this looks bad on the server for new players. I know that if I started fresh today on the server, and spent an hour going from town to town and being unable to stable something I would be rightly pissed.
I'm not against greifing. But when you Grief, you do it to a specific person a specific way. With this you are grieving the whole server. It serves no purpose, and gives you no profit. Usually you grief for a reason. You make them stop farming in "your" spot, or make them move their house away from a specific spot that you want. This does not serve a similar purpose. There is no profit in it.
