Mage was the best way to go in T2A...As far as I see it, it's era accurate. And, it's not entirely correct that you can't "hit on the run", but if you are moving when your swing timer resets, you need to stand still for .25 of a second to be able to swing...The confusion arises because most people did not play UO on broadband in the late 90's, so no one is sure exactly how it worked...
But, yes, best shard out there in my opinion, very true to the original...And best staff around, by far.
Looking for a gaming experience like T2A that will stay.

Are dexxers ok for PVM atm? And I remember magic being king and double hally hits with a well timed explosion on a hally mage. Also remember 7x Tamers being the best money maker. Crafting imho at the time was insane my blacksmith was always hooked up with work.

Dexxers are fine for PvM. And it's not impossible to PvP with 'em. The thing to understand about PvP here is that it's hard to get that killshot in the field no matter what. Just build up a nest egg for a while and think on what you really want to play. You'll be in the minority if you don't build a tank at some point but it seems that some of the players that have the most fun here play a much different (perhaps even unique) character most of the time.

Don't even bother with dexxing, you'll just end up raging. It's hard enough to stick to a mage anyway when everyone has a fast connection. Having to stop to get a swing makes it an exercise in futility.

Dexers are great for pvm since monsters don't run all over the place(until low at least).Maehix wrote:Are dexxers ok for PVM atm? Dexers can pvp too but you have to learn how the mechanic works to make the most of em.
But UOSA is still worth playing even with this silly mechanic that is possibly inaccurate, there's no shard that's better.
