Guard wacked 2!

A guildmate of mine had a hired npc to train on. It was green to me and i was attacking it with him to gain skill. He told me to kill it, i started attacking it.. everything was fine. The second it died.. I got guard wacked... WHATS GOING ON? lol

I think theres a bug that when a person says "all guard me" to make another person/animal green to you. Once its dead, you become a criminal.
