Friendly Brigands
Reported issue: Brigands at the large Brigand Camp north of the X-roads don't attack. I thought that they would, so I got surprised when I ran past and decided to run in and kill a few of them, just because. I don't know if this is an intended thing, or a bug, so just reporting it here in case it is a bug.
Issue details: Red Brigands at the Camp, don't attack on sight.
Environment details: The large Brigand Camp north of the X-roads and south of Yew.
Steps to recreate: Go to the Camp and see them not attack you.
Expected results: Brigands attacking on sight, or with the latest LOS patch, "aggro" all across the camp.

True, who wouldn't be? ;)MatronDeWinter wrote:They are just glad to have you back.

Re: Friendly Brigands
I have noticed this behavior also fighting them off and on while I was working on my archery skill in that area. When they stopped attacking, I figured that they would only KOS until you reach a certain fame or skill level. I'll try going there with a new character and see if they attack. If they do attack a newb everything's probably fine. If they don't, it should be reported up the chain. I'll post my results in a few.
Results: Yep.. They are not attacking a newbie either.. Something tamed the brigands.. Anyone noticed if other red NPC's are not auto attacking?

Re: Friendly Brigands
Ran through a brigand camp near Vesper today and none of them attacked. Was able to walk right up to the all of them. Thought I'd share...

Re: Friendly Brigands
Now that I think about it, I think that the Pirates on the sandy shores SW of Yew and W of Shame also don't aggro.
Re: Friendly Brigands
This behavior is also present in the Brigands NW of Trinsic, East of the bridge last time I was there.

Re: Friendly Brigands
This occurred in the patch which updated many of the NPC stats and behaviors. Looking in to this. Thanks.

Brigands will be agressive again in next patch.

Re: Friendly Brigands
It's worth noting that they also say friendly things like "Have a nice day" after they run away from you grievously wounded in combat...
This may be Era Accurate (I don't know), but if it isn't, maybe they could say nothing in that situation as it does seem strange at the moment.

Re: Friendly Brigands
That's hillarious. Thanks for noting that.
I will check this out and see if they are supposed to have this willingness for polite conversation.
