Best Way to Raise Archery

Can anyone give me some tips or advice on raising archer?
such as the quickest/easiest way to raise?

also would gming anatomy and tactics before doing archer be any help? or would it go against me?

Depends.

If you are shooting another GM player or a powerful monster you 'trapped' I would suggest leaving tactics and anatomy at zero. The less damage you do, the longer it survives without needing healing.

Order guards are nice for archery gains. I just gained macroing on a fellow player. Just make sure whoever you macro on has GM in the weapon skill they have equipped.

That's the way to go, the guards are decked out in platemail, have a shield, and will heal themselves. You can find them at random guard posts in Britannia

Go to one of the farms and cast blade spirit on the other side of a fence, shoot the blade spirit with your bow.

Just make sure the blade spirit can't get to you. They don't like getting shot.

Do they actually attack back? the order guards i mean? cos id prob just get fucked up if i attack them.

You can get them "stuck" on things.. If you own a home you can lock them in a table-cage. Otherwise a boat on a shoreline will work (pull them from a guard tower) - Spirituality shrine is another good spot, use the teleporter (om om om) to get up top and shoot them from there.
