I used to think this whole "blank spellbook" scam was pretty lame... but the number of people that fall for it, routinely and without fail, and post on the forums, has at this point changed my mind.

Seriously, I feel like a solid 5% of forum registrations are for people to complain about getting spellbook scammed. There is no better driver of forum signups! Thank you Darkwing for continuing to help this noble cause!!!
