Resist gaining session?>

Bad news, boo boo. Resist sessions no longer GM you, they'll stop at around 85.

O? when was this implemented and how does it functionally limit gains past 85?

After they put in the patch that resist was more based on damage, you could only get up into the upper 80's from MS. You can use a bunch of high-end magic creatures and a bunch of healers to get you to GM rather quickly, also.

Hire an army of mages, tame a pack of Imps and White Wyrms.. either solution works out great.


Setup shop on a townline so you don't take real damage (1per spell, which actually adds up when you use 40+ casters). You'll coast to 95 fairly quick

Flamestrike spam on self still works pretty well for me, can easily hit 90 resist by the time I GM magery. I don't always need resist on my other chars, so anytime I need to raise magery on a second char I use my other resist char as a target dummy.
