Razor issues

OK let me start by stating facts here :
I have windows xp downloaded windows installer 3 to dowload frame v2 deleted razor and uo every thing for redownload even deleted the .dlls left in razor file after uninstall did basicly everything covered by the forums and still have problem running razor
the issue i have is when i go to run razor its gives me this message:
Razor has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for incovience blah blah then says If you were in the middle of something,the information may be lost
Can someone pls help im going crazy :twisted:

sounds like your antivirus crap is deleting the file

turn it off and download the files and make an exception for razor.

make sure you have net framework installed and you should be fine.

Problem solved Thanks to help from Chaos
Basic problem was razor was updating to fix the problem was easy just had to bypass the razor update:

Click start open run enter regedit
Open the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Razor
Change the value of UpdateCheck from whatever it currently is to "020391E8A569A689" without the quotation marks.
(^taken from a thread Dagon made)

But i also had problem finding razor file under current user Chaos came up with this solution disconect from internet run razor (wont update because offline) reconnect internet and thats when razor file poped up under current user from there i changed UpdateCheck.Hope this helps anyone else with this problem
