Cousin Chum is always trying to embarrass me in public.

From this thread ive gathered a lot of info. Most of it ill keep to myself because my mom always said if I have nothing nice to say...
The other thing is that the only good thing from our patch on is the dex based healing. But its totally not worth all of the garbage to get that implemented ^_^

I don't play alone GK. Even when I'm doing deco there's usually someone else hanging around talking to me.nightshark wrote:Turning into?GuardianKnight wrote:Sjane turning into a cranky old lady? This is probably why you play alone.
Nightshark: I'll get you. When you least expect it

Actually, there's some pretty cool looking vendors out there right now. It's not that there aren't enough lockdowns, it's that people are too lazy to deco, or too lazy to find creative ways around the limit.Kelektra wrote:For that matter secures and lock downs were also horribad but i understand you have to have them in order to have a cool looking public house. If not then vendor houses would be nothing but vendors and no decorations.

This, if anything. No idea why anyone would want to move closer to UOR. Closer to UOR is closer to AOS, closer to AOS is closer to samurai and ninjas. Closer to that is...I'm not sure anymore.MatronDeWinter wrote:I would prefer the cut-off date be moved in the opposite direction when UO allowed more freedoms.

I think the general consensus is that there are a few 'nice' additions as it moves into UO:R but that implementing entire blocks of patch notes would be stupid/silly.Stuck wrote:This, if anything. Some examples:
- Dex based healing
- Sub-skill gain (using magery gains eval sometimes)
- Bolas (In my opinion as a biased unmounted orc

etc
The problem with this is everyones opinion of what is a good addition is different. And that is why the T2A shard is so great. Even though melee is fairly gimp...there is a clear notion of what this shard is and no one has to worry about peoples 'ideas' or 'opinions' constantly changing the nature of the game.

Fairly certain all monsters dropped their loot inside backbacks on their corpse during T2A, or at least at some point during T2A. Sometimes with a "no draw" token inside.Ronk wrote:Well, some NPC's like sheperds have bags. This one is interesting though. Should monsters be carrying bags?

yep most "humanoid" mobs did well into UOR. They also dropped a bunch of random garbage items that I recall. ie: orcs used to drop multiple bottles of wine and such. I'd guess they removed the backpacks to cut down on item count and general mess at banks.Silverfoot wrote:Fairly certain all monsters dropped their loot inside backbacks on their corpse during T2A, or at least at some point during T2A. The backpack thing is well known, era screenshots of dungeons show backpacks all over the ground - especially in places like Shame where elementals dropped their packs directly on to the ground.

- (DEX Fix) Healing time is now dex based. I.E. ~11 seconds instead of 16 at 100 dex.
