On another note, I wonder what I should replace it with....
The original setup I was going for was Tamer/Mage:

Animal Lore
Animal Taming
Evaluating Intelligence
Magery
Meditation
Resisting Spells
Wrestling

But then I decided to become a Tamer/Bard:

Animal Lore
Animal Taming
Magery
Musicianship
Peacemaking
Provocation
Veterinary

Now that Peacemaking is obviously a waste, I'm not sure what to go with. Any suggestions?
I kept my tamer and bard template seperate.

Classic tamer 7-x

Mage, Med, EI, Resist, Taming, Lore, Vet

I dont believe you can provoke and them tame so i guess it will help to keep other creatures off you while you tame in a dangerous area?

Also, not having med will really suck... a couple heals and you are left waiting for mana before you can gate your newly tamed creature to safety!

Also, one of the ways to tame drags is to para x energy field them. That's liek 95 mana all together.

In other words...if you aren't gonna gain magery off the regs ill do the casting so I gain magery and you gain resist ^_^ Plus with my 50 healing ill be able to use my bandages to keep you healed and my low eval means the spells will do minimum damage.
Well in that case, sure, only problem is I'm poor atm and fairly low on regs. Maybe once I can get hunting again and make some cash, if you still want to.

Honestly to be a valid tamer or atleast use your pets to their full potential. Vet is a good skill to have. It's cheaper than healing with greater heal and a lot more effective. Unless you plan to hunt with 8+ dragons and replace them often.
Agreed, this is actually a primary reason I even started looking into changing from my original template.

I actually kind of like the set up a bit more.... I've become so accustomed to having GM Med that it would be very strange to not have it....

I'm going to have to think about this some more.

Well the good news is you will have time to decide...

You can always start getting your taming up because in the time it takes you could probably take music/provo/med/ei up and down from 0-100 10 times each...

I always thought a peace tamer would be a cool char. Its too bad that doesnt work here.

Taming along with many other features during this period will become much easier once the current AI for pathfinding gets fixed. The pathfinding for creatures currently on here is very drastic and they look much further than what they are suppose to when they are blocked.

Tell me about it, I've been slowly working on this character since around late October/Early November and I'm just now at 89.3 taming...
