Thanks guys, I'm going to have Collin play around with this when he gets home. My only question is, say we disconnect each PC from the network and fix em up. Won't the thing come back as soon as we connect to the router again?

You'll obviously want to take measures to protect them from future infection, but it's not likely that they'll get the virus as soon as you connect. You'd have to visit an infected site at the very least.

After you've got them cleaned up, make sure to patch all of your software. Web browsers, adobe products (flash, reader, shockwave, AIR), java, and of course your operating system and office suite. A great many viruses these days rely on software vulnerabilities as a point of infection. Just visiting a site that's infected, or hitting a site that's running an infected ad banner, can be enough to contract a virus. It's called drive-by-download, and requires no user interaction. Keeping software patched and antivirus up to date is one of the best ways to stay virus free.

Disconnect all PC's, leave 1 connected and start with it.....once clean proceed to the next etc. Like said above, patch everything, (windows/IE/adobe etc), then switch to Google Chrome for browser and install the MalwareBytes scan button....works like a charm.

Download Malware Bytes to a thumb drive, boot to safe mode with networking and see if you can install/run it.!

As for the AVG or whatever... what a waste of RAM.... I see it as malware by itself!

Chances of your router being infecting are very slim but you can reset you router to factory def. pretty easy .. most of them have a small hole with a button .. get a paper clip and hold that button in while you cycle the power to the router .. Will cause the router to reset to factory settings thus if there were any infect data it would be deleted when the router flashed its bios.

Ok, I'm going to work on them all later today, starting with my desktop. Hopefully I can get them all running, as I still owe some people finished deco jobs, and I feel like shit for not finishing them yet.

Router reset when I get home, just in case. I didn't realize it reset it to factory when you hit the reset button, thx man. I thought you had to get on a computer and go into the router settings that way.

Remember you'll have to re enable your security and all that when you reset to factory settings .. will be like you just bought it.
