Atraxi, 10k for the rest is (on the high side) 1.5k per item, so if I get any bids of over 3k per item (gave you a little buffer, since you bid first), I'll have to take that over yours. Just FYI. Hope you understand.

I made that bid based upon the prices in Bigoud's Rares Dictionary.

The hanging herbs are worth more than the other items. The others are worth about 1-2k each.

If you want, I'll outbid myself, and say 15k for everything except the beads. I'd say that's reasonable based upon the prices in Bigoud's guide.

Technically this is scamming. You agreed to sell on forums, got my pm, and so sale should've ended. A half hour AFTER we talked, you changed your mind. At the very least, you should've given me the chance to match price.


I won't ever make a deal with this guy again, and most likely neither will most of the people I know.

How is this a scam? I tried to get in touch with you for an entire day, with no response. I don't get online too often, and I've had plenty of people make a deal and just not respond. I figured the same was happening. I didn't want to miss a sale entirely hoping that I would hear back from you. I even announced publicly that I did message you, but that until I hear back from you, I'm still accepting bids on the item. It is PUBLIC that I was very upfront about the situation. Everyone knows that you had bid 5k and I was trying to reach you, but until I heard from you, bids would still be accepted. And, what do you know, 2 more bids came in. This isn't a scam. I didn't deceive you. Everyone can plainly see that I was still accepting bids.

I'm sorry that you're upset, but I don't think it was a SCAM. A scam is when I deceive you into giving me something without you receiving anything in return. No money exchanged hands. You aren't out anything, so it's not a scam.

You sent me ONE pm. I responded as soon as I saw it, within the same day. You replied to that and still intended to sell to me at 10:01pm. The 15k bid was at 7:15pm. Therefore, rightfully you should've sold it to me. You're right, no money changed hands, and so it isn't that kind of a scam. But the usual way things work here, is that a deal is made, the sale is ended, and all further offers are null and void. At the very least, you should be giving the person you originally agreed to sell to the chance to match or beat price. If you don't behave this way, it's very bad business practice, and most likely people won't trust you.

You're new, and so maybe you don't have a lot of experience with this. I can promise you though, if you keep this up, you'll have a much harder time here. I've seen it happen, and I know quite a few people who will never buy from someone if they see something like this take place.
