That sucks nightshark. Multiple people claimed to have courtyard runes to this castle in his thread and he kept getting the posts deleted. I don't doubt the dude is shady at all. Kain never paid the 10k for the prize book I found last week. The ones he was leaving all over.

Okay i will put in my 2 cents. This was never a castle before it was placed. There were several other houses. I personally owned a keep back in the day in the top right corner of where the castle is.

I assisted Kain in placing the castle on test so he knew exactly where to place it. I was not there when he dropped the houses to place the castle. I would assume noone was because noone knew what was going to happen since Kain owned all the houses where the castle was for months before ever trying it.

My point is yes chances are much lower that someone would have a rune to the courtyard because it was never a castle before this placement. People horde courtyard runes for years, give to friends etc but since this wasnt a castle beforehand people dont always keep a rune to a random small house in the middle of the swamp. In this case it seems someone got lucky and happen to have an old rune that was in the area of the courtyard.

Last point. There is no such thing as a secure courtyard. Every castle, hell probably every tile more then likely has had a rune marked on it at one point in time. Learn to play the damn game, quit bitching about insecure courtyards, defend yourself, and most importantly always protect your assets, detect hidden, layers of tables.

You want to be a king of UOSA and live in a castle then you better learn the game mechanics and deal with it. I would still rather have a castle with your insecure courtyards to a house that anyone can walk next to my door and mark whenever they want.

This is T2A. We are all here because of the evils that still existed back then. The thrill of someone always in the lurch waiting to kill you or steal anything they can. If you want to be 100% safe and secure go play in Trammel.

Kelek that's totally off topic. I don't even care about "being a king" living in a castle, all I wanted was to not be killed while macroing my damn character. Kain assured my the courtyard was safe and I was killed macroing - taking another 20% stat/skill hit - 3 hours later. Locked doors and table barriers would not have prevented being killed. As I've said, I've have a money back guarantee from traders who actually give a damn about their customers.

The security from before he sold me the castle, to afterwards, remains unchanged. The same people have the same runes they had before the sale. Kain knew my only concern about buying the castle was it's security but is not willing to offer any sort of compensation for paying another 1.25m than its realistic worth.

You admitted to leaving the CY back door unlocked to me and your friends, and also admitted to gating from your tower into the courtyard...

Detect Hidden doesn't reveal inside the CY only inside the structure. You guys do know this nightshark, right?

Re-read the posts. Noone ever talked about revealing within the castle - revealing within the secure tower which was gated from.

Why cant you macro on a tower? Why do you need a castle to macro your chars?
