Actual house owners have to log in every 6 months or so and refresh the house correct or it will go IDOC/Condemed? Can someone clarify.

well thats the issue, the owner of this house, logged in (inside the house), left the house (to refresh some boats and also refreshing this house), then went back to this house to log out...

The boats are still there, the house is not.

Server may have crashed when you refreshed it. I logged in every week to refresh my house, and it fell too.

a sad sight indeed,

some people spend a lot of time making this shard better, that house added something to this server

unfortunately for me I've had some irl things happen that require my time (starting a 2nd business, having a 2nd child, buying/selling a house) so haven't had much time to play at all...I'm actually surprised I'm able to log on once a week for <15 mins to refresh things. But once things slow down and life gets back into a normal groove I'm for sure going to be back on 24/7

not sure what that guy meant about housing brokers...are you saying I'm a housing broker? (kinda hard to be one when I'm not even active/playing...for the last 4-5 months)

I agree that we lost a nice piece of work here, I'm gratitude goes out to blackfoot (who deco'd it)...my apologies good sir!

Decay 3 was down, and it took Decay 1 and 2 another hour to fall.

The interesting thing to note, is there was no save during the decay periods. And yet when I logged in Decay 3 had poofed.

Agreeing with everyone here, refresh often, and check your sign afterwards.

I too have noticed at times it seems like some houses are IDOC for more or less time than others.
