Re: Hiding Skill ups?
Wow bad advice all around.
Hiding becomes more difficult when you are in proximity to other players. Always train hiding outside of a player-house, there is absolutely no need to reveal yourself before attempting to re-hide. When you get into the higher skill levels (85+ etc.), start hiding in a place that has people (even NPC's) around. The people only make a marginal difference on the use of the skill, and at GM you are still unlikely to fail hiding even at the most crowded of staff-ran events, but it contributes enough towards gaining to make it worthwhile.

That's perzactly why I do it next to a Town Crier!! You have a static NPC, and enough player traffic to make it faster to gain.MatronDeWinter wrote:Hiding becomes more difficult when you are in proximity to other players. ...start hiding in a place that has people (even NPC's) around.

Re: Hiding Skill ups?
When first raised was Hiding, didn't even notice when I became GM. Don't know why, but for me it was easy. Increasing Hiding on a different character, faced with a similar problem. Stuck at 98.0%. Solution found by chance "random" - drank a bottle of alcohol and a skill went up.) Experiment
