fishing...

two questions.

1.) i've been reading and it seems like fishing is the easiest way to get rich fast. is that true? if so, why?
2.) what skills, equipment, etc does a fisherman need? what do i do with him?

i want to macro a tank mage in my own house but all i've been able to save so far is 60k. going to shame and killing elements usually only lasts about 30 minutes before i have to recall away from pks. i'm hoping i can get rich fishing instead.

1) Not really. It's quite time consuming. You have to get to 100 skill, then fish up SOSs, then sail all over the globe to fish the SOSs up.
Bard is really the quickest way to make fast money.

2) There are many templates on here and I believe on the wiki that can be used. Mine is:
Fishing, Magery, Med, Eval, Hiding, Resist, and Item ID

thanks. i didn't want to fish anyway. i have a bard already. any suggestions for where to farm w/ my bard and not get pk'd?
