DG Town - Requesting the Shard's approval for some add-ons
Hello all,
The time has come for the Dungeon Guards guild to humbly request approval from the shard for some add-ons to our player town - imaginatively named 'DG Town' to be decorated with some add-ons from our wonderful GMs.
What are looking to build? We are hoping to improve the look and feel of the town with some decorations such as street lamps and maybe a fountain. Further, if possible and if we have the funds we'd like to link the yew / britain road with a dirt road into DG town (see map)
Why DG Town? DG town is bustling with players most evenings both from the DG guild and other guilds. On some nights we probably rival most proper towns of Britannia in terms of player numbers! We have a variety of shops with vendors and an inn. As for DG itself, we take on players of all professions and skill level. We have many new players in our guild and provide protection and strength in numbers with daily dungeon hunts. We regularly come to the aid of non-DG players also and help them get back on their feet.
Many of you have visited, but in case you havent, here is a map of our town.
We have started work on saving funds from our dungeon hunts for this purpose, and are fully willing to pay our way, and understand that if we fail the shard or dont pay upkeep, any add-ons will be deleted.
I hope the players on Second age will support us in our endeavour and join us in DG town for fun & adventure in the future.
Thanks for reading

Yes: From what I gather this is an active guild that is very inviting of interaction with other players as well as providing good well stocked vendors.
Personally I've rarely run into you guys in game, but that seems to be an uncommon experience.
Good luck.

A huge 100% yes on this.
Despite all the beatings these gents get. They do on occasion dish it out in mass quantity. If any guild deserves town add-ons it's DG.
I have yet to meet a guild who is more respectful & active as DG is. They contribute a huge amount good quality to this wonderful shard.
Anyone who votes no on this is doing it out of spite. There is absolutely no reason they should be denied.
That's my two cents. Hats off to you guys hope you get the add-ons!

Glad to see other people saying yes.
I agree they are very active and doing good things.
I just wish that when guilds go inactive that addons go away.

I agree with that Eastwood.
Add-ons on a ghost guild should go away.
for the four people who have voted no. Shame on you for not giving a reason. Obviously it was just out of spite like I said in my post.

Only been here for about 9 days now and I've seen DG literally everywhere I've went since day one. I've seen them hunting in dungeons, fighting at the orc fort, and every time I've visited their town to either check it out or use their vendors/runebooks I've seen and interacted with their players. DG is the only guild that's gated into a spot I was hunting at and hasn't tried to jack the spawn from me, instead they've said hello wished me luck and gated back out. Every encounter I've had with DG has been respectful and enjoyable. Just my two cents.

I voted yes. You have PoD's support fully. You are a great group of ppl. Fun to fight. And very active.

Can we vote for ourselves? =)
I vote yes... but only if we come up with a better name than "DG Town" =P
Thanks for all the kind words!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Active and most certainly a fun guild to run with. A great place for new players to start out as well! As Paradox said if there is a guild that deserves add-ons it is definitely DG!
