Bloodrock Urks Skirmish Against Dungeon Guards!

All I can say is what I know... perhaps others from the battle will share their experience...

The day was late and I was in the middle of enraging monsters with folk music. My latest harmonic hippie balad was broken up by lots of chatter over the guild com-crystal. It was hard to make out with all of the screaming, explosions, orc war cries, and the ringing of steel on steel but it sounded like the Dungeon Guard's Guild Hall was under attack! I made for the village as fast is I could.

With a *woosh* of magical energy I was in front of the guild hall... right in between 4 Urks... 'I really need to mark this rune in a different spot' I thought to myself and not for the last time that day. Quickly I scampered into the hall and cought my breath. There were 4 or 5 of us in the hall and 4 or 5 orcs outside.

The battle was already well under way. For the next few minutes it was a pretty even match... perhaps the Urks even had the upper hand. I dare say they might have even won had we not been master house campers. Given my limited capabilities in such situations I was relegated to healing or curing and poison or disrupting; needless to say I was blowing through regeants and mana as fast as I could just to keep up.

Soon more Dungeon Guards began popping in and we quickly had the upper hand in numbers but yet to over run the Urks. They stood their ground honerably against the odds. Eventually they fell one at a time under sword and spell. One lone Urk, an ancient shaman, stood against us all. He managed to stay alive longer than the rest and put up a good fight but it was futile against such numbers...

Despite their wicked attack on our town... I can't help but note their courage to stand and finish what they started.
