One time I logged out in the first row of tiles in my tower, and then logged back in real quick, and when I logged back in I was in my secure room . O I quickly tried over and over to get it to work again but it never didRammar wrote:This.marmalade wrote:if somebody had access to the bottom level of your tower, they could have used the new LoS system to drop an energy vortex onto the tile directly above them into your secure room. thats probably what happened.
That also works.Populus wrote:I think you can get an EV on the tower wing.

I like to call this move the EV cleaning service.
Re: destroying furny behind barriers?
Nice, EV's won't attack a monster for shit, yet they will totally destroy your house. Nice.

Chim, you sir are perhaps the greatest griefer in UOSA history.
Kudos.
And I don't mean for this, I just have been meaning to point it out.

if you log in ontop of an impassable object in a house you're friended/co-owned to, it bumps you up to the next level.Kabal wrote:One time I logged out in the first row of tiles in my tower, and then logged back in real quick, and when I logged back in I was in my secure room . Re: destroying furny behind barriers?

All of these mentioned tactics are accurate. the LOS through floors, such as teleporting to brit bank roof works to this day on OSI.

Re: destroying furny behind barriers?
I've been trying to get bumped down a floor and can't get it to work that way, but maybe it's the building I'm in. Should you get bumped down a level if the space you logged out on and the space above you is blocked? I keep logging in on the same tile as the object (such as a chest) even though it shouldn't be possible.BlackFoot wrote:it moves you to the next available space, youl probably get bumped down if the tiles free
Edit: It's not the building, it won't work in a house that way either, won't bump you down a level if the tile you log in on is occupied by an object.

Re: destroying furny behind barriers?
I lost my Yew bank roof rune and logged out in a door way on the bottom.
Next day I was pleasantly surprised to find myself on the yew roof again. It certainly works to bump you up.
