So, I can be punished for a rule that is not stated but not report violations of that rule?
You are reporting things that are fine...clearly you're not understanding something here.
I reported posts similar in nature to my own and as explained by the rules laid out here and in previous rule statements.

"There was someone who posted yesterday about buying a good cave mining house,

Your spot is one of the best around, that ice mine is one of the best ore producing caves in Britannia.

Good luck, I know there was someone on the forums looking to buy a mining house, this is a good one."

How is that post in anyway report worthy?

It's off-topic. I was told off-topic posts were disallowed and discussion should be kept to the discussion forums. That is neither a bid nor a question about the house. So it is discussion

Not to butt-in in you love birds' discussion, but from Nevermore's Rules:
Posts like "cool sandals", "nice house spot", "ahh you're selling the katana you looted off of me in Wrong the other day", "FYI these are available from the Bowyer Merchant in Britain; they're not rare", "is this unused?" are OK to go in the thread.
I think Faustus' post fits that category, wheras posting "Small + 5k" in every auction does not.

You don't obey clear rules stated by the op of a selling thread also (e. g. minimum bids). Plz give it a rest...

It is my impression that the trade forums have been moderated relatively fairly over the last two years+ in which they have been under player moderation. There are only two alternatives that I can see for the trade forums, either the moderators suggestions should be followed, and we continue to host the trade forums here, or we close the UOSA trade forums in encouragement that a third party site be created for this purpose in which Second Age staff would have no oversight; as we did with the trade IRC channel(s).

I don't think it is feasible to craft a set of rules that covers every possible situation. If the moderators instructions could just be followed there would be no issues in the trade forums. If you think you are being treated unfairly you are welcome to contact staff, but please only do so if you have used the forums responsibly and in good faith yourself in the incident. If you'd like to report someone else's irresponsible behavior in these forums, please use the "Report" button on the post. Common sense is the leader here. Just because it's not listed as being against the rules, does not mean it's ok to do it. However no one is just going to get banned because of a single lapse of good judgement.
