I call blue PKER on you, that does not like the idea of turning red, why it will spoil your fun. What wrong Panthor don’t like having to worry about 10 blues chasing you down because you’re red?? i was going to suggest the same thing to him but mage npcs dont train magery at the moment for some strange reason. instead they train swords, parrying and some other random skills. i posted in the bug reports section about it.

Well I never got into magery ever in Ultima so I really am a noob when it comes to that type of stuff. I don’t know how to make a spell book, Recall Book, or how to bind a spell to a spell book...
I was always a True Non-magic Warrior; I don’t remember it being this hard without magic. Though I am reinvesting my skills into other areas to see if it helps even the playing field with magic users.

magery just makes life easier for everyone, even if you're a warrior. there's alot of utility and transportation spells that are too useful not to be able to cast. here are the wiki entries for magery and the spells you can cast.

you can buy full spellbooks from player vendors (lots around yew moongate) or make your own by dragging spell scrolls onto an empty spellbook. to make a runebook ('recall book') you need the inscription skill, but you can buy them from player vendors aswell.

Victor pretty much doomed himself to be hunted and killed with this thread. Emotional posts about being PKed is only going to make people want to kill you more. I personally LOVE knowing that someone is spazzing out in another part of the world because of something I did on secondage. Thats really what the whole game is about. This isn't what makes MMORPGS die. its what makes them great. Secondage is the Only MMORPG that I know of that allows the chaotic murder/steal/pk gank system.

I hate dying too.. but its what makes the game great.
