Look, despite all this stupid discussion the solution to your problem is just mark somewhere else further away from the main bank. Don't mark inside a bank, don't mark against a bank wall, and don't use a main bank as a retreat rune (ie. WBB)

If I had to choose between revamping an entire system or asking you to mark a few more tiles away... I've never had any problems with blocked locations ever, well, except that one time when a bird walked on my tile.

checkmate, I must express my curiosity:

What, precisely, were you intending to achieve by "proposing to me" exactly what I described on page 1, line 3; in what manner is this constructive?

There are a great many reasons why your interjection is pointless, and all of these reasons manifestly self-evident before you could have thought to hit "add reply" in the first place, yet you even went beyond that to find "submit".

I am sorry to pick on you specifically, or on anyone at all, but this is an excellent example of behaviour that is endemic in these forums: pointless interjection that is entirely aside from the issue; in no circumstance is such activity helpful.

We're onto the 3rd page with very little actual discussion; intentional or otherwise, obfuscation by the community is once again clearly evident.

My grammar is perfectly fine for this forum. You, on the other hand, are a pseudo-intellectual twatwaffle who feels that using poorly written English while consulting your thesaurus somehow lends validity to what you say.

That's because noone else sees any problem here worthy of discussion or that merits finding a solution. It's such a trivial thing to just mark your rune elsewhere to a less crowded area that it's a complete non-issue to everyone else. I actually find it somewhat amusing (in a very twisted way though) that you think this even requires a discussion, solution or staff invention, which keeps me reading this thread. Like watching that train wreck you just can't take your eyes from.

There is no problem, there's no discussion needed, there's no solution required. Just mark new runes to less crowded areas as most have already said.

noxmonk,

following failure with self-delusional lies that fail to justify it simply compounds that failure.

At this juncture I feel obligated to point out that I don't need to actually insult you: you demonstrate your failings quite efficaciously, and eloquently, all on your own.

For the record, I don't refer to a thesaurus: I don't own one, nor do I reference one online; I can communicate without it. It's not my fault that you require one, simply to keep up; no other inference could be relevant to this remark.

Now, if you feel inclined to throw more stones, go right ahead; we can see who runs out of glass first.

Ripplinger,

stop claiming to "read this thread": you continually fixate on the cited example, rather than the principle; a little reading-comprehension will point you to your error, and the ongoing hypocrisy of your assertions otherwise.

My glass is empty. You win. Now you can embrace your original solution on page 1 line 3. Cheers.

Use any example or situation you wish, there's no way to give priority to people behind the keyboard over afk macroers without extensive staff monitoring the shard 24/7 answering all the whiners. Yes, whiners.

What about people partially afk who are sitting at their desk working but watching the screen every 5 minutes or so? Do they also get booted? Do they just get told to move it because you want to do something they're doing where they're doing it? Where do you draw the line over what you want vs. what is feasible to enforce and what is fair to other people on the server?

Macroing is allowed on this server, and you knew that when you signed up to play here. The afk macroers are playing by the same rules as you and it's fair. If they bother you that much, find ways to kill them in their afk spot and park yourself there just because you can.

I've waited for a great deal of time before responding to this thread to allow others the time to weigh in.

To cut to the chase on this, no policy change will be made on this issue. While the principle is a good one, the problem, as others have pointed out, is proper enforcement (and the issues extend far beyond the examples given thus far).

Can we move this to trash talk or other? I'm tired of replying and keeping the safety on.
