Reagent Spawn Amount & Areas Inaccurate
I've noticed here there is very minimal reagent spawn. There were certain select areas that were covered with reagents you could collect. One area I remember specifically is right outside minoc in windmere having tons of reagents, some poorer people used to go there and collect bulk reagents and sell them on vendors. Does anyone remember the other areas with high reagent spawns?

Thanks. I recently noticed this myself, will try to get corrected soon.

I remember lots of something (forget which reg) being around the moonglow moongate. Was it pretty consistent across all shards as to what was spawning where?

even after my initial poor days moonglow was the spot for reg gathering

There used to be masses of regs near the server lines.

Re: Reagent Spawn Amount & Areas Inaccurate
Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to your server, just joined last week. I started playing UO in 99 and one thing I remember was reagents being all over the ground outside of cities, some areas more then others. On this server however, there's barely enough to gather for a single spell. Now I've noticed that buying out regs from a vendor will double the restock of the regs till that cap of 999, but for new players who don't have the gold this makes doing anything that involves reagents very difficult. Even T2A era had plenty of regs on the ground to go around for all. If the reagent spawns in the world could be increased, this server would be near perfect! So far I love what I've seen on here, just miss the reagent collecting!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yew used to be littered in Regs; I remember using my map to walk to Yew, then spent the next few weeks gathering regs and selling them for dexxer crap.dren wrote:I've noticed here there is very minimal reagent spawn. Re: Reagent Spawn Amount & Areas Inaccurate
Reg spawns sometimes spoke to the locale. ie:gys usually had a lot of silk. They dont here. I do notice there's more ash spawn than not at fire temple tho.
I also notice reg spawns in dungs which I dont think is accurate

Regs did spawn in dungeons. Black Pearl and Silk in some, I recall Despise having Sulfurous Ash and Silk.

I don't know how many of you played Great Lakes but there were masses of regs in this spot regularly. I remember first gaining magery with regs picked up around moonglow every morning.

One thing to throw out there...
I dont' believe UO:A had a scavenger agent. If you put super high reg spawns people will be able to quickly/easily run through and pick everything up with minimal work...which is not T2A accurate (I don't think). I never really used UO:A but I remember there were mass amounts of regs on the ground because hardly no one ever spent the time/effort to pick them all up one by one.
