Poll: Multi Clienting
I support the idea of reducing the amount of possible clients connected at one time.
I just want to see where peoples heads are at on this matter.

1.It opens up housing for new players and old. Wrong, this wouldn't impact housing.
2. It makes crafters possibly more useful. Again, this doesn't impact crafting.
3. It curves pking. Again, this has no impact on pking. If you ever pked you'd realize mutli-clienting doesn't matter.
4. It slows down ghosting. Practically no one ghosts on this shard.
5. It puts people out in the world for more things rather than macroing with yourself. This doesn't even make sense.

It would be more likely that a red that dies would be in stat loss (harder to macro off counts) and thus there would be some tangible detriment to dying on a PK (instead of the current situation, which is switching to your other account's red and playing him until the original account's red is ready to resurrect without stat loss).
The number of people ghosting is small, but there's really only a half-dozen places worth ghosting. So if you're saying "well that only effects a small number of people", you're right... but that small number of people is responsible for the majority of ghosting.
Of GKs points, I think those are the only valid ones. But for me personally, the benefit does not outweigh the cost. Still, a poll has been long overdue, if nothing else than to see what people's thoughts are.

I have played here for 833 days .. and have only been pk'd a handful of times .. like under 25 times and the majority of it was my own fault.. this would be great if the shard has just opened but to try to make a change like this now isnt very likely..

If you're limited to one connection and you die you have to choose to rez, macro off counts, or use another character while not macroing off counts and not raising skills from stat-loss if you chose that. That's a huge impact to pking. If you have an account full of 5 dead statloss pks you've got some serious choices to make about what to do if you can't log onto 2 more accounts at the same time. If all you do is pk and all your accounts have dead pks then you've got to choose what to do with your characters, while not macroing off 2 and playing on a third. /retard

I agree with GK, even if Derrick left it up to the players to vote for a change, and that vote decided what the change would be, there would not be a majority vote to make a change that affected personal play style for the worse.. Derrick would have to unilaterally make the change and the players would have to adjust to it... just like everything else that is done through patches, etc.

You don't need to macro while playing. You can macro counts while at work and/or sleeping. Most of the pks on this shard have more then 1 pk anyways. It would have absolutely no impact on pking.
Not that it would be good to limit pking, considering how uncommon it is now anyways. If you ever left town you'd know that Dagon.

No forum poll can accurately represent the views of the UOSA playerbase as not every UOSA player reads or posts on the forums.
I assume this is why policy decisions are not made based on forum polls.
