I was curious how this actually works/calculated. I have a public house and have never had a vendor. Do the times when either me or my alt who is friended and is my main char visit the house count as visits? Or possibly do only folks who drop in count or is it something else. Thanks for any input.

Not sure, but you can test it by looking at number of visits, having one of your friended toons or owner visit the house, then check the number of visits again I would suppose.
