Re: Trophy Turn in System / Event Updates
Someone a while ago mentioned the idea of a sort of "trophy" system like that of modern console games. As a person who is long tired of the game (but still enjoys it), I think something like this, something for each of us to collect (and something that would be visible for people to brag about) would be a nice addition instead of all of this emphasis on PvP. Should there be some sort of PvP event? Absolutely! Though I believe there should also be other events with a significant emphasis on other things. Actually, they do not even have to be events. A giant checklist attached to an account that was visible on myUOSA and maybe some of the checked-boxes grant you a little silver. Sounds reasonable to me.

Actually I think the most era inaccurate system in place is the ability to have staff answer your questions and attempt to solve your problems.Brules wrote:I honestly think the whole silver/turn in system is by far the most inaccurate part of this shard........it still amazes me that as dedicated to accuracy here, they have such a whacked out inaccurate system in place.
I'd be careful how far you take this particular line of reasoning.

Dunno what shard you played on but Baja had great staff....GM's were always on and available and the counselors were top notch and readily seen at Counselor guild halls and always around for people.BobDobbs wrote:Actually I think the most era inaccurate system in place is the ability to have staff answer your questions and attempt to solve your problems.Brules wrote:I honestly think the whole silver/turn in system is by far the most inaccurate part of this shard........it still amazes me that as dedicated to accuracy here, they have such a whacked out inaccurate system in place.

Re: Trophy Turn in System / Event Updates
I think kaivan answered why they dont have a 'goal list' or 'accomplishment list' attached to accounts.
He said that they didnt want to give players artificial goals, like WoW, and other mmorpgs do. They want you to create your own goals etc
Somthing along those lines i think

"Something like hair dyes that are actively being redeemed for I can't see changing. They should be far from common. I really don't like making chages at all; some items though have just never seen redemptions, but masks, dyes, monster statues, cbds, and name change deeds are the active items."
You guys need to keep asking what's already been asked?
