But would this auto-disconnect your char, like what happens when you log-off on an inn, or you would still be in the world for some minutes?

I think it will effect online player counts tbh
The player counts attract people to the shard. Dont matter if they are afk or not.

I don't think it matters, really. The guy with the whisper is right. I remember I usually macro'd via uo with a penny int he keyboard and I would always have to put like say b or something in it. I believe inactive meant you weren't moving or talking.
