Hello all!

I used to play UO up until about 4 or 5 years ago when they made massive rule changes that suddenly rendered a grand master archer I had been playing since the beginning of UO useless because he was no longer strong enough to equip his heavy crossbow. That was the last straw for me. I thought the removal of power hour was a bad move, but I kept playing until in my opinion, they made changes trying to make Ultima more like other games instead of keeping the identity it had since the Commodore/Apple days when it was created by Lord British. I am going to download the client and give this a try soon. I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and stand on my soapbox for a few.

Well I got everything loaded and got logged in tonight. This is a great setup! With the exception of Razor which I had never even heard of before today, everything is pretty much as I remember it. I wish I had my Grandmaster Mage though. I forgot how hard it is to start off with a weak n00b character. LOL
