So the first thing you do when you get here is basically beg/ask for money to get started? Well when you make a character you get 100 gold. That's a good start.

I started from scratch as most of us all have. Get cracking.

1. Make a bard (can macro 100 music and 70-80 provo in a day)
2. Mine in minoc and bank your RAW ORE. (Dont make inggots)

People paying 20gp per big raw ore piece right now.

I was in your shoes just a few weeks ago. You will feel much better getting on your feet yourself. Good luck and Welcome!

Welcome.

I'm new around too.
Started with a crafter some hours ago. Mining and Blacksmithing at the moment. Don't know if this is a good way to start in the shard but at least i'm doing some money (not much tough) and improving skills that will be useful in higher levels.

See you ingame :D

Welcome, also rather new, I found that scribing n sellign scrolls was a good way to get by in the beginning but yea, making a bard is the way to go if you don't wanna craft ur way through the start and ur in a hurry.

Myself I made a dexxer and hit Shame and killed ellies, deffo not the fastest way to go but I enjoyed it =)

I just really dislike people who go about asking for anything. I did receive some help in the form of a full spellbook and about 2k, but I didn't ask for any of this. I was fighting at Brit GY and they must have had Para precasted because I barely had time to move when I got frozen. They explo me and then DPed me with their weapon. I didn't make it very far.

When they went to loot my corpse they saw I didn't really have much on me and my weapons/armor stunk. I came back to loot my corpse and they asked if I was new. I said yes and that is how I got my help. I never go about asking, but I will not deny that I did get help once.

totally agree with ya. I first started here a week ago, first thing i did was make two characters and had them macro weapon skills so i could have a dexxer. i went to three ctf events until i finally got my first trophy, sold it for 4k and bought a silver staff for 1.5k and started farming from there.
