Looks like the [trapped] hue for explosion traps is a bit off from what it is on UOSA.

I'd like to see more dungeon traps for era accuracy. I rarely see them here. There were heaps of them all over deciet 4 and you'd run over them a lot while trying to PvP - lots of people died trying to flee when they ran over a 40hp dungeon trap.

I remember exploding mushrooms and sawblades on the floor, but I don't remember anything hidden...

Poison traps also.. TBH they were usually uncovered because someone had just run over them. This would be a fun, accurate edition to the shard. Right now, I think there's poison on the ground in that room in the corner, a level 4 chest spawn, and that's about it.

Not implemented. You can still hide in combat, fairly easily if you tab out
and break LoS.
Those traps are non-existent to my knowledge. There are "fire holes" in
areas like the entrance to covetous, but that seems to be about it. You can
hide as soon as you break line-of-sight. So you can't hide right in front of
the guy, but if you run and tab out and duck behind a building or similar,
you can then hide.
Regarding the mushroom traps:I haven't met a trap so far either, so it is not worth to invest skill
points for that purpose only.

Essentially, you used to be able to make a gate to the mushroom patch, and people dumb enough to run through would inevitably hit a few 35-HP mushroom bombs on the other side and die (well, I saw one reference to 34 damage). Jesus Christ thats lame... its a part of the dungon... they already nurfed
sending people to their deaths in there so all that was left was ppl crazy
enough to try to run in there and faceplanting... now they set it so you
can't even do that anymore... How fucking lame

Hmm maybe the dungeon traps were a UO:R addition then. There were most certainly the blade traps and poison traps in there at some stage, perhaps they were after our timeframe ;/ Deciet LL room was one of the biggest places I remember the floor traps.

I remember a guy who used to do that funny old "running with gate precast and then stop" trick to lure people into the Mushroom field where they would run a few steps before realizing what happened (and thus die).

Running through it you would die in 3-4 steps, there was no message (or real animation) saying you were taking damage from the traps so you wouldn't notice it.
