I found lockpicking just sucked because you are fighting for the same 14-15 chests with about 8 other losers with no life. Like someone posted, it gets you maps, cash and items but there is a pretty big time investment.

I can put up with being griefed taming while I am afk hehe. But not being ninja'd for chests

Does this mean I'm a loser with no life? And that would make you a loser with no life? And apparently hundreds of other people on this shard with the lockpicking skill? ><

Blacksmithy and poisoning are certainly a PITA, but GMing them is a matter of gold and time.

I stand by my original post of lockpicking, not only is it a PITA, but (1) you cannot do it from the comfort of your own home, and it's actually quite the opposite, having to put yourself in harms way vs. some of the toughest mobs in the game, in some of the most PK ridden places, (2) no amount of gold is enough to know you're going to make it, you actually have to put some effort towards reaching your goal, and (3) you have to compete with other players for the same amount of limited "resources" (lvl 4 chests), and when they respawn, the don't respawn x2, like nightshade on an NPC vendor.

I'm at 98 lockpicking, I couldn't be bothered for a while. Taming is horribly boring I'm still at 93.

I don't know about anyone else but provocation for me has been extremely slow once I hit about 92, I would gain ~0.2 every couple hours macroing at the glow zoo. I don't care though since it's still completely reliable
