Wild Horses

Post by Alex21 »

Seems to be a severe lack of wild mounts, there should be more. I remember a while ago horse prices were up at the 1.2k mark and it was said to be era accurate. Was this disproven?

Ive seen quite a few wild horses, I always make sure to kill and eat them.

I don't ever recall mounts being over 1k, I recall (At T2A's release) that mounts went for about 400 gold (at least on Great Lakes).

horse prices in t2a varied from shard to shard depending on sales
horses did spawn in t2a more than they do on this server

There are about 5 horses that spawn in a spread out area between Brittain, Trinsic, and Skara. If you go further north up the Yew pass, east past Brittain towards the swamp, or south into the Trinsic tropical Forrest then you wont find any more. Stay between these 3 cities and you'll find them. One of them in particular spawns near the end of the river by the Labyrinth and another near the trinsic/Brit bridge. A GM tracker with taming makes this process of finding free horses much easier. But yeah I've recently discovered that the quickest way is usually just to go to the Moonglow mage shop teleporter where people seem to abandon their mounts that can't go into the new lands. Or just go into the new lands and you'll find them all over as well as ostards.

Here is a link to a similar topic, with details on why the horses spawn as they do.

<@SecondAge> Several Lichs have been spotted in the Britain Graveyard.
<@SecondAge> The cause is unknown and several townspeople were seen fleeing in fear
<Vintirex-droid> Several townspeople, Not a big enough problem imo
