Mana on test mysteriously disappearing

Post by Eaglestaff »

Phantom mana drains anyone? Ive seen my mana bar deplete fully a few times and tried to duplicate the effect. I have not been able to nail it down to anything but there were two instances where I saw exactly when it happened. The first time I noticed it was when I used my Cast ebolt/arm hally razor macro. I made this macro to start charging the hally timer quicker. Anyways what happened was I was at 60 mana and when I hit the macro I went down to ZERO and got the "You do not have enough mana to cast this spell" message. Seemed weird as hell to me. The second time I noticed it I was casting greater heal while "dueling" the pit boss and he disrupted me. I then went down to zero mana without casting.

There are no player GM's on test as of last week.

When did this happen?

It was late last night early this morning in the wee hours.

I thought staff doesn't play on this shard?

You said this was on test. Yes there are UOSA staff on test, usually me testing. Testing does not include draining your mana though.

I can't imagine the cause of this. The only thing outside of intervention that I could imagine causing this is mana drain items or weapons

Checked logs, there haven't been any staff on test but me for a couple days.
