Installer problem

Post by Perelandra »

Having a bit of a problem getting the installer to work-

I've downloaded the UOSA_Client_Setup file, but when I try to run it I get a message:

Installer Integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media....

I've tried a few times with the same result.

Any ideas please? I'm running Windows 7.

Thanks! Really want to get in to this!

Did you try re-downloading? Apparently your download is corrupted.

This installer is verifying just fine for me (just checked):
http://download.uosecondage.com/UOSA_Client_Setup.exe

Should be 341 MB (357,674,005 bytes).

try the d/l link from my sig on sourceforge.

also you might turn off any anti virus you may have until it's fully downloaded... you don't want it to try scanning 350mb in memory.. that can sometimes corrupt the d/l.

Thanks,

It's now working.. not sure what happened last night, but Dagon's solution worked.

And... omg. It's *UO* again.
