Can you gain dex on horses by any of these methods?

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

Lighting a fire near a horse so it can gain dex passively or by wrestling?

There is no passive gain here, I'm sure that applies to NPC's as well.

As far as gaining dex, I believe Kaivan noted in another thread that wrestle should be 50/50 dex/str. Currently it seems like wrestle is 100% str, and no dex gain.

I just did a quick skim looking for references on wrestling stats.

It appears that in December of 98 Wrestling gave 10% to Strength and nothing to Dexterity.

This continued until between April and November of 99 where it changed to 9% Strength, 1% Dexterity.

For what its worth, here's a player account from Nov 15, 99:
It's unfortunate but wrestling also raises dex some. I've wrestled water
ellies for tacs and gotten 2 pts of dex. Most of the time it raises str,
but it will occassionally push up dex. Keep using it and str will push
it back down.

Yes, this is what I remember - vast majority of attribute gains were STR, with some DEX mixed in.
