Need a advice..

i was playing uo about 10 years ago.Then the server closed and i tried other servers but i didnt like their pvp system so i stopped playing uo and i have played many online games.And then i decided to finish my online gaming advanture with my first online game uo so i started again in secondage with big expectations but it was a big fail for me because:
1-Server like a ghost town.When u log in game it says there are 450+ online players but i cant see them in towns or in actions.350 of them at macro or in their house 10 years ago at the other server there were 250-350 online players but towns have tons of players it was much fun.People were talking about games last rumours last PK attacks vs vs..
2-It seems here everybody love playing as a mage but i hate playing as a mage and mage pvp but here u must play as a mage because warriors have no chance against mages,pvp is not balanced.At my older server parrying,weapon skills(sw,archery,fencing,mage vs..)bs,mining,bowyer and magic resistance skills were very important and they were the hardest (to gain) skills.At there mages have long delay time and they become frozen at that time.So players mostly prefer to play as a wariror and mages were in partys for killing dragons opening gates healing,buffing and causing big damages behind the party with the wariror protections it was hard a single mage pvp.According to that there were many Bs,miners,bowyers to provide weapons and armors to warriors and of course there were many thives too.i mean economy was very active and players were using mostly moon gates or horses.pks were waiting at bridges,moon gates or attacking mines(there were no guard proct. at mines)miners hiring warriors to protecting them i was mostly dying at that atttacks but it was really fun.
3-Most beautiful towns are dead because of easy housing system cove is dead town there are no vendor(except a bs).There were big traffic between minoc-vesper-cove-brit
Pls dont understand me wrong i am not saying this server have to be like my old server.I am saying i hate this system and i wont play at uosecond age but it is not about this server is bad only i dont like this mage based system so there are tons of players here and they have played at many servers at that 10 years so u have more information about other servers pls help me to find a server like my old server can u advice me a server name like my old server pls pm me from here.

But really what was your old server? Was it OSI(doesn't sound like it)? This shard is the most accurate shard that is out there related to T2A. Its amazing. Yew moongate is packed full of vendors selling everything you could think of.

I run a mage and have been killed by dexxers once or twice but usually recall out(flame away). It seems that its not the system but the player that isn't letting the dexxer role.

As for it being a ghost town have you ever been to the West Brit bank? Destard, Deceit? Any server events? Almost every bank I goto I see at least 2-5 other players.

a good dexxor can take on a mage most of the time. Yes it is hard, but just make sure you have pots, and trapped pouchs!

Shards dead? Ya we dont have the population of OSI but i always see people!

UOSA is for some players, but not all. If you like the trammy shards then UOSA deff isnt for you

-It was SNN(Sanane) a Turkish server.
-i didnt say it is imposibble to kill a mage with a warrior.I said pvp is not balanced.Here mages have more advantages.Anyway it is not the subject.
-Yea i went brit bank i saw at least 3-5 macroing player they were like npcs.I said "hello" one of them and he dissapered he was macroing hiding
-Yea here there are events 1vs1 pvp tournements.At SNN there were no events because we dont need them.Players were very active.
-No i didnt say i dont want a pvp server.I love killing or dying at game.I said i dont want a based on "mage pvp" server and allow macroing server.(sry for my bad english

Its too bad to see you leave, but this shard seems like a perfect match for me. Hopefully others as well. This is my first freeshard and honestly after not playing UO for 2-3 years and coming here it didnt seem too much different than 99 did minus the # of players compared to OSI.

I have played every single 'era accurate' server that has come out since around 2000 when uogamers arose

I really don't feel like getting into an explanation of why they were below sub-par

But I have seen no comparison to UOSecondAge

1 - UO has evolved over the years from the game it once was. Towns are more barren now because a lot of people use other resources like IRC or Teamspeak to do their regular chatting. It's much more convenient. You're going to have this on most all shards though. The other thing is that shards that allow macroing generally have more people in houses doing so in order to get their skills up so they can join in with the other players. Keep in mind that UO is a 14 year old game now. The age of discovery is long over.

2 - So play as a dexxer. I play solely as a merchant.

3 - This is the way the second age was. If you don't like the style of gameplay, then UOSA isn't for you. You don't *need* a mage, but it was the best method of PVPing during this time.

machine gunninig pots and using really nasty weapons- dexers pwn mages, just how it goes, hallies don't hit for anything against a fully plated dexer with parry. and yes- POUCHES POUCHES POUCHES, but tbh - you'll know a really good mage when you see one, cuz they'll kill you and you'll still have not pop'd a trap'd pouch-they just d on't use an ex por, unless it's a last resort deal

I am currently on the other side of the world (very soon to be remedied). Depending on what time I come on, the server may be "ghost town"ish. Generally, the only time it is low (from what I have seen) is around 9pm-ish, when the server is down (can you guess what time zone I am in?), till about 11pm. The rest of the time, I see people just about everywhere.
