Personally, I'd dump parry and go GM mage/med, but that's me.

Set up a dress macro to wear armor versus dexxers, and nadda versus mages. 100 / 90 / 35 for stats.

Slightly slower than a katana, but with much more punch. Not feasible for a tank really, but for a straight up dex, fence is still pretty badass.
But you cannot poison a fork/sspear now can you?

they are all good for different occasions.
if pvp consists of a large amount of running id suggest a spear or war fork.
or if you want a greater success rate to disrupt mages go the kryss

I think maybe this is what I used to have. The magery and med to heal when bandages don't succeed, and also get around to places and out of danger if need be.

Let me know what you think.

What about 78 magery 22 med. What would you be casting with 50 magery? If you arnt using any magery in battle why have med?

78 magery will never fail a 5th (so you could para someone if you had to)

The template i had at the top of the thread was similar to yours except i went 90.2 magery (to never fail a 6th) and had archery over parry. I loved it at the time but dont think it would be that deadly in this era.

I do like that template, and I also think it would work for PvP. I really like the archery thrown in there, makes for an interesting fight. Remember magic doesn't work in town, so if you ran with this template and saw a member of a guild your at war with in town you'd own them. I think that is why I had this template because at the start of the faction guilds, everybody eventually came to brit bank, and this made for a good PvP hot spot.

I agree with taking magery up a little, as not to fail a heal spell. I think I will try parry out for a while too, and see how much it helps. If I remember correctly I had GM parry bak in the day, and dropped it for something else.

I am searching for an ideal warrior template. I see a lot of warriors with hiding as a skill, and I don't remember that ever being part of any of my warriors template. Can someone please explain to me how this has become a must have skill for warriors?

If you have an idea for a good warrior template then please feel free to share and tell us about it. I want someone to basically pick mine apart, as some have already done, giving some constructive critisism.

Thank you,

50 Magery and 50 Meditation is useless, either go 100 on each or not at all. Your heals will fizzle at 50 magery from time to time, and meditation won't do anything, assuming you wear armor, which if you're a med-dexer than you shouldn't be wearing much if any at all. Forget parrying.

magery works in town.
magery damage does not.
and dexxer mages generally use magery for heal/cure/buffs. not damage.
