Targeting Main Hand w/razor
I have a pretty good macro when I wanna re-poison my weapon. With a single stroke of a hot key it activates a macro in razor that uses the poison skill, targets a poison in my bag, than targets my weapon. It works good the ONLY problem is that the weapon must be of a certain type or pre-targeted. I know a few of you will post different macros for such things as this but mainly, is there a way to target my weapon in hand? Rather than re-targeting in razor every time I use a different weapon.
Thnx Yo,

I'm not a Razor expect but I dont think so. You can target by type but that would randomly poison one of the same weapons. By last target but that isn't good if you want to poison a dagger and your last target was a kryss. You can do by specific target but you want to poison a new weapon.
I think those are the only targets but how many different kinds of weapons are you trying to poison? Maybe you can set up two different macros.

By type in your bag is the only way to do this, other than having the weapon set as an absolute target.

But what if there is two different types? Like a kryss and a dagger? I think he'd need 2 different macros.MatronDeWinter wrote:By type in your bag is the only way to do this, other than having the weapon set as an absolute target.

Yes, unless he is only ever going to have one of those types in his bag at a given time. Then he can set the macro to something like
Use poisoning
wait for target
target poison
wait for target
targetbytype kryss
targetbytype dagger
It will select whichever weapon is present.

Re: Targeting Main Hand w/razor
Yea but I think he wants to target whats in his hand at the time. So if his dagger isn't poisoned and hes using it he wants his macro to poison it. Of course he could just switch weps and then start the macro.
Re: Targeting Main Hand w/razor
Its more of an "in combat" situation, ya know. If you have say a short spear on and want it DP'd then wish to switch to said warfork and want that DP'd. Not really macroing for skill but to poison on the spot any weapon your holding.
But I am getting the hint that the weapon must be pre-target'd thnx for the replys.

A little off topic though, which is the minimum poisoning skill to apply Deadly Poison. I am aware of the recommended skill for skill gain but I cannot find the minimum and to what success rate, kinda spinning the thread here sorry dudes.

Do you know how fast a pk would kill you if you tried something like that?Skawilly wrote:Its more of an "in combat" situation, ya know. At 80 poisoning you can apply DP and never poison yourself from failed attempts.Skawilly wrote:A little off topic though, which is the minimum poisoning skill to apply Deadly Poison.
