no, it does nothing except help mana and stamina regen.

Just move around to some different spots, crossing server lines can never hurt.

I noticed i was stuck on 99.1 hiding for a couple hours of macroing and when i hit 99.2 it went to 99.5 within about 30 min.

I just think the skill gains are and always were a little corky. Im sure there is some randomness to it.

Maybe it was just a coincedence, but i had 3 skills stuck on 99.1 so i thought maybe thats a so called gain border on wich the difficulty increases to MAXIMUM UWNAGE or something :p

Im pretty sure food helps with skill gain. I found when I was full any skill 95.0 or higher would raise just a hair better than if I wasn't eating. Maybe im just reading into too much...? A lot of people have said it helped them though, so I can't see it just being me.

If food doesn't work, then moving around is not going to work either. If you macro long enough, the skill gain will come! I had two chars stop at 96.5 resist for what seemed the longest time. All i did was keep macroin' to fix it.

It's always funny to see people try to quantify meaning to random statistical anomalies.

Re: eating food, moving around (there's no 8x8 here), server lines.

I suppose that UO's original server code was so messed up (double hally?) that anything is possible.

Are you sure you don't have "Show Real" checked on the skill list? If it is it will not show 100's :)

Doesnt matter if i do or dont, show real isnt permanently checked.
I always look at my skills in razor for their real status.
