I just compiled a list of nubi items at char creation...


Default Items:

100 Gold, a Candle, Dagger, Randomly either short or long Pants, Doublet or Fancy Shirt


Best Skills for Nubi additional Clothes:
----------------------------------------------

Magery:........... Robe (blue), Wizard's Hat
Carpentry:........ Half Apron (yellow)
Wrestling:........ Leather Gloves
Detect Hidden:.. Cloak (black)
Fishing:........... Floppy Hat (yellow)
Tracking:......... Boots

It tells you the phases of the moons so you know where the moongates are going to take you.

Oooh, I never knew that. I usually just throw it away as soon as I make a character. Someone told me it wasn't useful in this era.

they're not really. they're no more helpful than just constantly walking in the gate is. only a hardcore RPer would sit there going "ok... trammel is in its first quarter and felucca is in its 3rd... HMM THAT MEANS BRIT!!"

you get cycled through different cities depending on what the moon is, but it's still a cycle of cities either way
