Monsters on Boats

It started out that I logged in at my house to find 2 Ogres, an Air Elemental, and a Zombie hanging out around my house. I've never seen Ogres or Zombies by my house before and I've never seen that many monsters in the area at the same time. I blew it off, dropped some stuff off and recalled to my boat (a few screens from my house) and there was a Ratman on my boat. I've never seen Ratmen in that area.
I didn't know it was possible for monsters to get on my boat anyways, plus I had both planks locked and both keys inaccessible to any one (one in the bank, one on the char that had been logged out), so it's not like some one could've helped it out.

So 2 questions, can monsters hop on my boat and has anything been changed in the monster spawns recently?

Is there a Tmap located near your house? Maybe someone pulled up a treasure chest and just left the mobs.

Now in regards to the ratman on your boat... not sure.

According to Stratics, there are no TMap locations near my house.

A boat can be parked in such a way that you can walk from the bow to shore in very specific spots due to the land/shore features.
