I had an entire diary dated from '99-'02 with screenshots and many, many pages detailing my actions in game. I liked to read it sometimes for a nostalgia kick of how I perceived the game back then (while cringeing at my horrible 14 year old English skillz). Of course, never had it backed up and ol' faithful's HD died a horrible death. T'was a sad day.

This is why PvP doesn't "feel" like it did back then.

Karik Verlee wrote:Derrick, you have the date on that Trinny invasion? I might be in that frame! Not sure though. Pretty sure I wore a heater and bronze armor at that time. I miss Chesapeake.

You ever get killed by Dr Feelgood & Alice Cooper on chesapeake?
Oh sorry Karikm, somehow missed your post. Yeah, I remember both. Not sure if I dies to them but likely. Name a player on chess and me dying to them is about 50%, i was sharing dial up with two other people in 1999. No Roger Wilco for me.

My nemesis was the PK "Brown Eye". It didn't matter where I mined, he would find me. It got to be a joke: "oh well, here comes ol Brown Eye again..."

I don't have a date on those files, it was either Feb or March of 2000 I believe, prolly march, and I stayed away from it until the end, the lag was insane for me.

It probably still works! I logged into mine about 6 months ago, and it had been dormant for 8 or 9 years.

Thanks for the pics Hector. I remember OiN.

Lol, that storage house is how I remember smalls looking on Osi. Housing was so hard to get that several people would live out of a small. Almost nothing was locked down, house looting in all its glory.

Why "for sure"? The crafting gumps can be changed server-side.
