patching client problems

Hello everyone. I stumbled across this server a few days ago and im looking forward to playing here, except it keeps telling me i need to patch my client to 5.0.8.3. but i cant seem to patch it. Ive ran it with the normal client and the patch.exe and ive looked at UO.com but i could never find anything on that site... anyone know what to do here? Im running vista as well, not sure if that has something to do with it... thanks in advance.

Under Vista, you may have to "run as administrator..", right click on the Razor shortcut to get this option. If that isn't the probem, let me know the specific error message or point where your getting hung up.

right, i run everything as admin just to avoid problems with that, although ive tried doing it without as well...i didnt catch that there is a torrent on the site with the game and the patch, i may just re-download it and install from here

the regular UO client patch is in your installed foler, i think it's called uopatch.exe
Is that failing?
If so, look in the Patch folder and delete the .rdp and .pat files in there.

yup, tried that to...and just tried deleting the files...still nothing...i think ill just go for the torrent
