Pack Horses

Sorry if this has alrelady been brought up but I just started my first character a miner, and saved up 700 gold bought a packhorse and figured I'd begin building my empire. Imagine my surprise when my packhorse could barely hold more then me? He topped out at about 33 Large ORE... Any reason for this or is this "era accurate" (Thus making packhorses 100% useless)

era-accurate. drag / drop or even running to the forge each mining node is more efficient in my experience.

If the weight allowance per horse is too limiting you could try using more horses -

exactly! when drag and dropping is more efficient, why not change it so at least packhorses serve a purpose.
