Well I dont see Matron in here denying it.....but then again we have no proof it was the real Matron pulling the scam. It could very well be someone trying to get back at Matron now couldnt it? Not that anyone would have any reason to....

If indeed this is true, then Tabius (the real one) is not even remotely involved, secondly if ANYONE deals with matron they are warned and should take the upmost of caution, but that being said its very very scummy of Matron to be screwing new players so badly, its purely taking advantage of a system (irc rule policy) that is poorly understood and so lightly enforced.

while the cA guild is known for their shenanigans, its more known for screwing stupid players, raging vets & general griefing that make for good and funny stories and tales of adventures, not leet hax pwning new players

Granted this could all be a giant ongoing smear campaign against cA, but not the most likely of ideas (cA has been enjoying their spot light recently)

Is there really any point in coming in here to defend myself? Probably not. I could go on about how these "omg matron scammed me" stories have popped up in the past few days after we targeted a local illegal sheep factory (which is pointed out in the other "cA sucks" thread). I could point out that anyone here can openly scam me, and there really is not anything I could do about it because I am a thief, a class that is always guilty before proven innocent.

Are none of you here law abiding citizens?

Why arent these threads in the trash talk section? They serve no purpose other than slandering myself, and my guild of upstanding bards.

I would like to point out, that I can never see this happening from Tabius. He is a rather trustworthy citizen, that I would use as a broker if I ever found myself in need.

I've only heard accusations of this in cA's channel and guildchat. What's our track record? We're attention whores, and do things to laugh/make others laugh about. If we do something worthwhile, you're gonna see a story about it. Don't assume you know what cA stands for either.

Dude got scammed, it sucks. Don't forget that we play a shard with no trammel though. Everything you do has risk to it. That's what makes it fun.

As far as Tabius' prior involvement with cA, I have his application sitting in my inbox from when I was GM while chum and matron were gone. Regardless of his prior involvement, I doubt it was him.

All of this evidence is easy to fake. All you loudmouths saying cA just scams noobs should stfu until you have something worth pointing out.

When your part of a organized crime ring, then no the law does not apply. even if this is a scam, its your own fault, pushing players to the edge, griefing, and stealing its about time they started fighting back, no way to prove this either way, thus it should stay up in main discussion, as well you could very well be scamming left and right and using your vet/known player status to claim that you would never do such a thing! move this to trash talk, put a disclaimer saying Is has not been legally proved that i scammed folks....
