Town add-ons shouldnt be about who holds the most events and draws the most attention to themselves. It should be mainly about how active the guild is, whether they are a pk guild, anti-pk, pvm, or a crafter guild. Every guild should have the opportunity to get these add-ons if they have active members.

K^A is an active guild and you can tell because theres been a lot of posts recently about people hating on them. Just because they dont all sit in one spot in the town and welcome every person into the area doesnt mean "its a ghost town".

Pat brings up a good point, I can only hope the administators of the shard and forum can see how much of a silly attempt this was to attack K^A. Perhaps if the individuals put their effort into a more productive and efficient way of dealing with their personal issues towards K^A they might have been more effective. However, I strongly suggest the administrators to neglect the ignorant text that have been posted by even more so ignorant and perhaps jelous individuals and continue with the guidelines and restrictions they have in place already in regards to assisting K^A's addons and other guilds.

On a brighter note, Check out the K^A forum, there is an event being brought to life by beezlebub.

Take care,

Fede

As a group we just need to keep the conversation and debate focused where it needs to be, not on single groups.

$$$ Trys to avoid using GM assistance when ever possible for running our events, we use Fourms, IRC, Vent and in game publicity to promote them, this is more accurate, and cuts down on greifers, though we have and will get some GM help when needed.

Still we host events on a regular basis, and have done so since our conception

I'm tired of that asshole Chim townkilling people.
I'm also jealous of K^A and all their shiny pixels ruining the game.
That cotton field and road they have should be removed to make way for more empty small house's with signs that say "for sale 200k".

Ok so Felix let me get this straight. First you complain that we hold no events and are an inactive guild. And now when we try to make things right and host an event to please the masses you insult that too? make up your mind friend, or just stop trying to cause trouble since you die every time you come to our town and are out of ways to grief us.

yea those were my personal houses, because no one wanted to take on holding houses, unfortunately i have a real life with work, and volunteering, and what not and one miss counts times, I also did not have a chance to friend the other guild members the 8 other guildies that were on when it happens knew all about it, but could not refresh unfortunately, either way this was something we had discusses as a guild dropping the houses, it added lots of activity to Moonglow island and increased sales at our vendor, Dagon dont be jealous because $$$ is better then anything you have ever been apart of in UO,

Life happens, think of me loosing 13 houses as inactivity town collapse, (and taking on more then one person should handle) even with that $$$ is and will always be more active then K^A, or anything other poor excuse for a community guild out there.

IMO take away addons from inactive guilds and give addons to current active guilds. Would be like a reward for staying together and playing over a period of time. Lots of new guilds out there im sure would love to build towns like PKK, Cr3w, GA, POV, even TG could use some love. Active, active, active, should be the requirement for town addons.

It's awesome how you call these guilds dead, when they are still some of the most active guilds. The only reason you don't see "TB" around anymore, is because we lost control of the stone after Eulogy quit. ACE still plays, they just PK and not PvP. K^A is quite active, unfort just in the Pking scene as well. All of the guilds you have listed Vlast, do nothing for the community. I'm sorry I don't always broadcast what we do, but we help out new players as much as we can *probably more than most other guilds*. Sure, it's easy to hold these little chicken fights, or crafting matches, but try and run a PvP tourney when their are so few pvpers/duelers left on the shard, and see what the outcome of that turns out to be.

To be completely honest, to force a "town" to run events should be done, but not in the cases that everyone else is explaining. It's 100 times easier to run PvM/*Animal Duels* than it is to organize over 10 people who feel like doing 1v1s/2v2s/3v3 OUTSIDE the tournament arenas. That being the case, it's almost unfair to make the PvPers who currently own towns have to run events like the people who currently do.

Why does a "guild of merchants" need a town? You guys claim you're active, thats great. Why does no one ever see these 8 members? Infact, in the past like three+ months the only member of $$$ i've seen ingame was Marfu.. and that was when I was walking around ice isle, and saw him recall in hide and start mining. I see K^A everyday, in their town... dungeons.. etc.... Wheres $$$?

Forgive how scrambled my post is, I promise I'll present a perfectly valid argument structured nicely after I finish my classes ;).
