Just a thought but could your computer be going idle and dropping its connection to the internet connection .. (maybe check your power management options are turn it off or change the settings and see if this makes a diff.)

Depending on your power profile, Windows (I assume that you're using) may be turning off power to the NIC. Make sure any options like that are turned off in Windows.
